Betsy is running in a special election to replace a Commissioner who resigned. The date of the election depends on the number of candidates. If two or fewer candidates run, the election will be held on primary day, Tuesday, August 13. If more than two candidates run, August 13th will be a primary to narrow the field to two candidates and the election will be held on November 5.
